Speech and Language Therapy assessment starts with a conversation with parents and caregivers to find out more information about their child, before meeting the child to carry out the assessment. The purpose of assessment is to answer the questions "would this child benefit from support?" and "what support do they need?".
We offer therapy wherever it's needed. It can be at home, at school, clinic or anywhere. Communication happens anywhere. Recommendations regarding frequency, duration and timing of sessions are made based on need.
We offer school observations, visits and meetings with educators, to help support your child everywhere at school including in the classroom, at the playground and at lunchtime.
