I'm a Speech and Language Therapist from the UK. I completed my clinical training with my Masters of Science postgraduate degree in Speech and Language Sciences from University College London (UCL) in 2016.
I worked with children in the NHS in the UK before moving to Singapore and working in private practice. I have experience working with children with a range of communication needs
( e.g. speech sound disorders, language disorders and social communication differences) and diagnoses (e.g. autism, Cerebral Palsy).
My approach recognises that parents are the experts on their child. I encourage parents involvement in therapy in order to make the changes that really matter. I prioritise collaborating with educators, so children can thrive in the environments most important to them.
I'm registered with The Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) in Singapore, and The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) in the UK.

Comments from the families and educators we work with
"Anika makes her session work for Ammar's needs. Instead of Ammar following her program, she re-adjusts her program according to Ammar's mood on that day. Ammar loves gym time. No stress. I'm happy to see Ammar enjoys every session he had with her. With that, he improves a lot in his talking/pronunciation. Within months, teachers can see his improvements."
"I’ve loved collaborating with Anika. She’s the only speech and language therapist I’ve consistently recommended to families, because her approach is so child-centred, strengths-based, and truly affirming of what children and families need. She brings such compassion and quality to her work and would be an asset to any child and family."
(The sessions)..."were adapted to my child's needs, following her progress and her state of mind. For example at the start she was mostly communicating with sign language, and Anika was able to support her with it. The sessions are always allowing for breathing time and some play to help the child to stay focus and enjoying the sessions. While this is an on-going journey, we have made huge progress which is making me more confident for her future!"
